Keen on the Water got a logo and some flags made by Piggotts UK.
The flags are made from 100% recycled plastics, made into fibers and woven into a burgee. The flag has a blue background with the moon in white and the logo in black print, with Keen on the Water written below in pale pink contrasting text.
I am so happy with the Keen on the Water logo and flag design. The logo which incorporates all aspects of Keen on the Water, including the sailing, marine science, eduction and empowerment. The fact the flags are made from 100% recycled plastics in entirely on brand for me, and is one of the main reasons for me to choose Piggotts as my designer and creator for this project as they are as eco-forward as me!

I recently hoisted my first flag on board SV Moonflower 3, in preparation for our Atlantic crossing from Antigua to Gibraltar via the Azores. This will be my second ocean crossing on Moonflower 3, with captain Chloe Need, and this time with a full all female crew of 6. We are an international group of girls, with 2 Spaniards and a kiwi mixed in with 3 English girls. Hoping to set sail from Antigua soon, we are in full prep mode, getting the boat ship shape and stocked up for a planned 3 weeks at sea!
Having recently finished a year and 2 months working on board Wildberry, I left a flag behind for them too.
I hope to be able to give away a flag to every person along the way who supports Keen on the Water along my journey.
